The cards young Lou is trading is def. NOT t206's. If you look real close they appear to be M's. He says he has players that are not in that set but that is def what they are. Also, Lous woulda been about 13 in that scene so there ya go.
Also, In "a christmas story" you can see a t206 and a 1940 playball tacked to ralphies bedpost.
ALSO,
there is an 80's twilight zone episode about a guy obsessed with old baseball cards. His ex wife burns them all and he kills her I think? Anways, the payoff, he ends up going back in time and being a ball player on one of the cards. Clearly shows Goudeys for sure.
