This is more than just a letterhead or business letter. The author of this letter, George Washington Wells, is my wife's Great, Great Grandfather. He was one of the founders of American Optical Company and eventually became president. His Sons, her Great Grandfather and Great Uncles were collectors whose collections are what many people in Massachusetts know as Old Sturbridge Village. I found this on ebay. It was being sold for the letterhead and not the content or the author.
