Ronnie- they were actually pretty helpful...we discussed them reaching out to the winning bidder stating I’m interesting in acquiring the item. they said it would be between me and the buyer, Christie’s would only be putting us in touch (there’d be no cut for them), which I thought was good...so, fingers crossed I get a response.
