It depends for me. If a non-sports eBay seller is completely clueless on what they have I will contact them. I won't take advantage of their lack of knowledge on sports memorabilia. Typically I'll also make a very generous offer to change the auction to a private BIN. If it's a sports dealer/auction house I don't say anything. They should know better.
