One part I found particularly enjoyable:
"I found a letter he typed but may or may not have actually sent to Brooks Robinson; the letter asked for help locating a copy of a book Robinson wrote, and mentioned in passing that it would be nice if Robinson could also send an autograph to his young son, who was a big baseball fan. The letter makes me laugh every time I read it, because it was dated nine years before I, my dad’s first child, was born."
