CharlieI have had an auction before where the case was damaged and just had the person return the card with the case. The reson why I have them returned the card is since I didn't have a disclaimer stating that all graded card sales are final. Also, there are a few people out there that constantly try resubmit the card b/c they think the card will grade higher (ex. taking a high grade BGS 9 and trying to get a PSA 10 out of it). Or trying to get a discount on the card since the holder was damaged even if there was no damage to the card. I would at least get a picture of the case where it was damaged before making any decisions.
