About 16/17 years ago, I purchased a really nice T201 Mathewson at a show in Virginia for $400 (in hindsight, pretty steep at the time). Wasn't looking for it, just saw it and bought it. A couple of years ago, I had it graded - PSA 6.

The first card I ever purchased was a '58 Willie Mays. I was 12 and it cost me $30. Still have it.
