Default Very Fishy 1952 Topps High Number Panels On EBay

Irv pointed these out on another thread and they made my Spidey Sense tingle immediately. Every 1952 Topps sheet or partial sheet I have seen has the cards printed in sequential order but these are way off, #406 Nuxhall to the left of #372 McDougald, and #400 Dickey to the left of #321 Black. McDougald should have #371 Hofman to his left and Dickey should have #401 Schultz to his right. Another problem I see is that the backs of Dickey and Black are way too close to each other, there should be a larger gap. The Nuxhall and McDougald have a more plausible gap between them on the back. Then the seller mentions that he got these from a Freddie Mezamucci, a man in his nineties who was a Yankees Minor League shortstop prospect in the early to mid 1940's who was going to get called up to the Majors but Phil Rizzuto returned from the war in 1946 dashing the dreams of Mr. Mezamucci. The problem is I searched for a Mezamucci or anything similar on Yankees Minor League teams from 1942 to 1946 and couldn't find anything on a Mezamucci. Finally, in the small print the seller admits that the panels are printed on cheaper thinner non glossy stock and have bleeding of the ink that decreases the clarity and vibrance of the image. I agree with republicaninmass that these are fakes.
