JeffFWIW, I submitted a Phil "Scooter" Rizzuto 52 Berk Ross to PSA many years ago, and the card, which I thought (naively and stupidly and anti-myopically) was a solid NM, came back a 2!! I was shocked until I saw that it had been stapled at some point (hmmm, could I have missed it, or did PSA staple my card???), and there were two pinholes where the staple had been through the card. Nonetheless, it got a 2. And the card wound up being donated to a kids' hospital in New York where someone needy could really get some enjoyment out of a local hero's early card.
