A few notes
When I first got the signed WaJo, I sent a scan to Hank Thomas (Johnson's grandson). His response was:
"Fabulous card! I'm not sure I've ever seen a card signed by him before, other than a signed T-3 I saw at the HOF a few years ago. Thanks for sharing it."
So, apparently there is a signed T3 out there, though I've never seen one. Perhaps one day I'll be able to sift through the HOFs collection of signed cards. Wouldn't that be something!?
I would have to agree that the Lajoie signed Goudey is the ultimate signed baseball card. But there are a lot of really exciting ones out there. I would love to own the T206 Lajoie from Morey's collection, copied below. I might even part with my WaJo or CYoung for it, because I love the Morey provenance...
