My only memory of Don Zimmer was ...I thought a class act , I was visiting former Whiz Kid Steve Ridzik at his house in Florida , days before he passed in Jan 2008. His condition was terminal. A call came in that he had to take and it was Don Zimmer saying goodbye , when he hung up the phone he was in tears. Sad day
