Daniel, I think you need to look at the bidding history of each auction to get your answer. In the October auction two people, y***6(1437) and d***2(657), really wanted the card. y***6 entered an early very high bid. d***2 came in at the last minute with a very high bid but not topping y***6. But it made the bid amount jump from just under $30 to the winning bid of $123.53. In the November auction, d***2 again came in at the last minute and was able to post a winning bid. This time, last minute bids pushed the amount from around $40 to the winning bid of $56.78. Bottom line, there were two very determined bidders in October with one of them getting the card. That meant that in November, there was only one determined bidder who got the card for much less.
