Default Real of Fake, Cobb Auto

Posted By: CS Bolay

Well, I guess you could chalk it up to the same 'gut' reaction bobbvc speaks of.

Pardon the crude terminology (I'm no Keating or Simon), but it just has a stiff, forced and scratchy look to it.

I'm never real comfortable with these reeeeally wide n' wet fountain pen sigs either, harder for me to judge. Kind of like if you signed your name with a child's Crayola marker, comes out all puffy and distorted. Most authentic Cobbs I've seen around are pretty sharp and well-defined.

Just my thoughts from a collector with a smidgen of experience, no paid authenticator. (I probably know more than STAT or Morales does at least).
