Trae R.Doug, that means that none of the printing process bled outside of the black border that contains the player image within. In my opinion the cards are much more appealing when they haven't "bled".
If you look at the T206 in your collection you will likely find very man that are "bleeding". The Powell and Overall I posted above are slight examples of bleeding. If you look closely around the borders you will see some of the print is off by just a little bit causing some of it to be outside of the border constraints.
