Sounds like a PSA gambit to buy only cards already in a PSA holder to me. If you tighten the screws just finger-tight, it doesn't do anything to the card, and the card is not going to slip out. On the other hand, if you really crank the screws down like your life (or the card's) depended on it, it might pinch the corners.
