I have been told that the "Canadian Goudey's" are more scarce than the 1933 Goudey's, especially with the backs that are in bilingual. My question is, other than the fact that they were made in Canada, why do the "Canadian Goudey's" if in fact more "scarce", fall just short versus the '33's in popularity and price? Just curious what your thoughts might be... Looking forward to being a member!

Welcome to the forum!
I've long considered that part of the valuation discrepancy between WWGs and Goudeys also has to do with it being a foreign version of a set where a US issue is available. Players like Ruth and Gehrig are parts of US history and as such, when given the option of basically the same card, save for one being "made in the USA" and the other a "foreign product", folks prefer the US version.
