Not sure about Frank Thomas but you would be amazed at how small of head some really big MLB players have. I have been looking for a few game used hats to wear but can't find any big enough to fit my huge melon.
Good luck Tony, not sure his head would have grown after he got huge.
I could be how he wore the hat. I see some that just kinda set it on their heads and their hats are really small. Then you have the hair no hair affecting hat size.
