Default e93s toughest cards

Posted By: Scot Reader

If you believe the pop reports there are about 10X as many examples of a common T206 subject as a common subject in the major E sets (e.g. E90-1, E92, E93, E95, E96). So clearly it is tougher to find a nice E card than a nice T card. And demand for the major E sets is almost as high as it is for T206. When I look at an E card and try and figure out an appropriate price, I generally ask what a T206 of the same (or comparable) player two grades higher would fetch. For example, for an E93 McGraw in PSA 4, I ask what a T206 McGraw would fetch in PSA 6. This usually seems to put me in the general ballpark for E card prices--although obviously it does not work for Plank or Wagner!
