PASJDNot to beat a dead horse, but I think the auction houses also should disclose any restoration (even if in the opinion of the auction house it is not material) at least with respect to cards where there does not appear to be a consensus on what is material. I cannot comment on other collectibles where there may be a consensus. And I fully concur with Aaron that if an auctioned item has been authenticated by the consignor himself, that ought to be disclosed clearly. Why isn't it done? I still haven't heard a good explanation.
