We had dinner with Ken Burns (at the opening of the Negro Museum)
and again at a private gathering for Ivy League, Oxford and Harvard Alumni
in NYC at the Princeton Club.
We talked with Ken at some length about the Negro League and the friendships
he developed with some of the players. His relationship with Buck O'Neil was so close that Buck became the godfather to one of Ken's children
He is a brilliant filmmaker who truly grasps the social implications of
the subject matter that he is covering.
We look forward to this series and to working with Ken on a new research project
