Both of these cards are fakes. I paid $5 apiece for them at the 1982 National in St Louis. The counterfeitor did an excellent job of counterfeiting the Rose rookie.
However, he was very stupid trying to dump all (or most) of these cards at one Show. If I recall correctly, coast-to-coast flights in 1982 were as cheap as $99.--
He could have flown to several Shows through out the country and sold them in smaller lots. I doubt if anyone would have suspected that they were fakes, then.

In 1982, the Rose rookie was selling for about $200 (and, going higher).
