Texas TedWhen I first started to sell on ebay the closest I came to negative feedback was complaints about charging $1.00 S&H for something that only cost me 49 cents or 60 cents to mail. When I figured in a rigid top loader, bubble mailer, trip to the post office, etc. I was not getting rich, but I decided right then and there that I would never again charge for shipping and handling (but I do charge for insurance as an optional item). What I did do was up my starting bids by a buck so that I still covered my costs. Now I get cudos periodically for giving free shipping and handling. Go figure.
Plus, with my free shipping, I also combine auctions at no extra charge at all.
