That would be because I didn't know that. You learn something new every day. Although, in my defense, it has been a common hobby assumption that he was the artist, especially since his signature appears in the lower corner of the paintings that he promoted.

Didn't Flood mention in his book that he was an artist. I thought I read that he went to Europe to concentrate on it during his time out of Baseball.
