Great piece from an epic player. I wish I had something game-used from his Reds era. Can't say I have ever seen anything on the auction block, other than a couple of bats.
Very interesting to see that the Angels were still using fiberglass helmets into the mid 1970s. When you find these fiberglass examples, they're almost always from the '60s. Awesome Helmet!
