Warning....many different styles are about to be mentioned! The most obscure stuff that I like are probably these:

John Zorn, Kraftwerk, VoiVod, John Faddis, Merciful Fate, Stormtroopers of Death, Samhain, Mr Bungle, Primus, The Residents, Bauhaus...I'm sure there are more!!
