Default Cracked my first case today: an SGC

Grabbed a 1968 Topps yellow letter variation that was graded an SGC 20/1.5 due to writing on the front. I think it could come back a 6 or 7 (MK). Cracking was pretty easy. Just slid a flathead screwdriver up and down the side until it separated a side, and then rotated the case until the bottom was still sealed, and then opened it top down. No cracking of the slab at all. For some reason, I thought the black gaskets were foam; they're just plastic. I bought a huge screwdown holder and used the gasket to create a recess area for a 1984 OPC Mattingly rookie (already FR/GD based on creasing) that presents nicely. Looks sweet in the 1980s era screwdown.
