The scarcity of responses to this thread is a good indication of the scarcity and niche nature of cards showing female players. Don't mind that a bit - I'll take the untraveled road!

The 1890 Young Ladies Baseball Club cabinet card is one of my absolute favorites. I can't imagine it ever leaving my collection. Someday when I have two seconds to think, I really want to try to research both images and find out what I can about women in baseball at that time. I'd pay through the teeth to get a vintage photo of the Vassar girls' team from about 25 years earlier.

(Note - not to scale. The top card - the 1890 cabinet - is actually bigger than the other photo. Oh, and another thing I noticed about the second photo. Two of the girls are obviously twins. I'm thinking that may help when I ever get around to trying to figure out who they are. Now I'm looking for a Bloomer Girls team that included a set of twins.)
