Saw Simon & Garfunkel's 1981 Central Park reunion with 400,000 close friends, except not really if you read the severely revised crowd estimates for all the Great Lawn shows ... more like 100,000+. They established how many people fit on and around the Great Lawn by, you know, counting them.
Also, sadly, I experienced 9/11 a very short distance from the World Trade Center.
