Unfortunately, neither of my best packs fit into the post-war, pre-1980 baseball category, but I'll mention them anyway. One was a 1982 Donruss pack (that I bought on Ebay) from which I pulled TWO Cal Ripken, Jr. RC's in Minty condition. That was a neat pull.

More recently--and this is bittersweet--I bought a pack of 2007 Donruss Threads Football at Target of all places, and I pulled an Adrian Peterson Rookie Class Letter Patch autographed RC (whatamouthfull). The card was about the best thing I could've imagined pulling from the pack, BUT the card was HEAVILY factory-damaged. I haven't mailed it back to Donruss yet for replacement--I'm still a little nervous--but I'll get off to them soon.

Even though it doesn't really fit this board, if anyone here has had any experience sending back serial-numbered and/or auto'd cards, then I'd appreciate knowing how well the transaction with the manufaturer went.
