Default The Courtesy of a Response on BST

BST succeeds as well as it does because of the general good behavior of our members and good communication in putting sales and deals together.

However there are instances, where that communication is terminated by the lack of a response. Questions and answers such as

Is such and such still available? ----------- Yes ------------ Crickets

I am interested in such and such, but need to defer the purchase for a week for whatever reason. Is that okay? -----------Yes ------------Crickets

are at times frustrating. Personally I respond to the lack of response with a polite follow up note in several days within a week. Sometimes this works in resuming the conversation.

But sometimes it doesn't. This has happened to me several times recently.

I realize that all members do not visit the forum hourly, daily or even weekly.

But if a question is asked, following up to look for an answer should be timely in my opinion. Whatever the response it is preferable to not finding one.

I have no agenda and think that the majority of the forum would agree that a response should be part of the preferable etiquette for BST.
