I've been pushing towards all vintage pen, however you take what you can get sometimes.

You be amazed how tough it is to find even great TTM signers with period signatures. This leads me to believe that with the advent of the internet, and subsequently eBay and online player lists, a majority of vintage cards were signed post 1995, with another glut post 2002. I realize there had been player address lists circulating via books and otherwise before hand, but in my eyes technology led to far easier access, and increased popularity of vintage signed cards.
