Anthony S.I did send him a note right before posting the card here. To be honest, the crack has no effect on me as I'm an old school bust 'em out of the holder type anyway (unless the card is valuable and I might resell it at some point in future), but I just wanted to make sure the seller knows how to properly pack cards in the future, because other buyers would care. His feedback is low, so it could be he simply didn't know any better.
