Amazing if you are an Orr aficionado. Otherwise, pretty much par for the course of similar team and regional picture issues: 1940s Parade Sportive Maurice Richard, Beehive Phil Esposito, JD McCarthy Gretzky, etc. Despite RC status, they are not going to sell for anything like the mainstream RCs do, and the Orr card is actually a juniors (not NHL) card. The same REA auction had a 1958 Omaha Cardinals Bob Gibson pre-RC that sold for $2400. There are many examples in the Zeenuts series of baseball: pre-RCs that sell for way less than the 'RC' itself.
