I hope everyone appreciates the significance of Obama's landslide victory. That our country can overcome racial barriers and elect an African American president is historic. Hopefully, the old poitics are dead and a new era is upon us.

I wish president-elect Obama the best of luck in what will prove to be very difficult times ahead.
