For Red Sox players, Kinder and Vern Stephens (already mentioned) are very tough....Tony Conigliaro is fairly tough to come by even though he passed less than 30 years ago. I would imagine the toughest Red Sox (50's onward) to get would be Harry Agganis, who died in his second professional season in 55' from a pulmonary embolism. PSA's website shows 1 out there...


When I saw the title I thought of a couple guys who died during their career, Lyman Bostock and Walt Bond. Bostock seems to have a handful on eBay so he's not as rare as I'd expect. Other toughies I'd imagine are: Danny Frisella, Herman Hill, Ken Hubbs, Mike Miley, Bob Moose, Chico Ruiz, Jim Umbricht, Don Wilson, etc...
