What has come to be known as the Taylor Bridge Wildfire has exploded from 1,000 to 27,000 acres overnight about 4 miles west of Ellensburg, Washington with 0% containment. The fire has destroyed more than 60 homes and 100 barns thus far. Conditions for battling the blaze are bad; moderate winds with gusts to 30 mph, high temperatures, low humidity, and ample fuel (the Valley is known for hay manufacturing).
