The pitching one probably isnt held in high regard because its been done more than twice as often,36 times as opposed to just 16 for batting. Its also been done 8 times since the last batting triple crown.

Paul Hines,Hugh Duffy,Ty Cobb,Hornsby(1925)Gehrig,Williams(1942) and Mantle are the only players to win the major league triple crowns. Thats obviously tougher than just winning your league
