TBob"Nodgrass" is not a legitimate variation, it s a printing freak. Its value is to collectors of those kinds of things and if it garners huge sums of money, more power to its owners. Just don't call it a variation.
"Fred Snodgrass Dies at 86. Muffed flyball in 1912 Series"- this was the NY paper's head on his obituary. I still cringe when I think about it.
