Brent ButcherI believe the 1914 CJ set is still listed on the SGC website and if that set in its current condidtion(SGC slabbed) where auctioned off now it would probably fetch 7 figures.
There are other graded(public) sets that could fetch over $500k if sold through an auction format:
From PSA's Registry -
Peter Thomas's T204 set
Probably the top 5 T206 sets listed
Smith's T205 set
Louchios's D304 set
Top 2 T3 sets
Top 3 1915 CJ sets
Top 2 1933 Goudey
Of course you would have to have big money buyer's for these to sell but if strategically listed at the right time I feel in todays market all of these sets could break $500k.
BTW, how can Louchios's D304 set not be in PSA'a HOF?!! Whatever that means....
