The Cobra was my favorite player as a Little Leaguer in the late '70's. I had his model glove and bat (not that they helped me all that much). However, in 1979, I did attend the Bucky Dent Baseball School and received first-hand instruction from NY Yankees, Ron Guidry (pitching), Reggie Jackson (hitting), Lou Piniella (hitting), Dent (fielding) but missed the final session on catching as that was going to be Thurman Munson's area but he had just died a couple of months earlier in the ill-fated plane crash.
