What has me excited about this board is that it is my favorite era for collecting. This is because it is the era when I grew up in. As a kid I started collecting at age 4 and loved my cards more than anything. It is no exaggeration to say that I knew every player on every team, their batting averages, height, weight, rbis etc etc etc.

I love baseball and I love the cards but it is that personal connection I am missing with the pre-war cards.
