I agree with Jim about the love for postwar cards. Cards you collected as a kid have a special place on one's heart, never to be replaced. My first set ordered from Renata Galasso was the 1978 Topps set. Just about worthless but to me it marked my serious entry (ha!) into the card collecting world. I also have strong memories of getting tons of Topps packs for my birthday in 1974 and praying to get an Aaron. Anyone feel that way about Bonds today?
