Default Vintage Caibbean Issues

Posted By: Chad

Other than that, Venezuela is the only country I know of with vintage stuff, vintage meaning pre-war. Puerto Rico has the Toleteros and Denia issues from the late 40's and early 50's and there are a few Dominican cards from the early 50's as well. The Dobles Venezuelan set is from 1931 and has guys like Martin Dihigo, Cocaina Garcia and Tetelo Vargas in it, but no American players. There are also Venezuelan cards from the 40's and there are a couple of Nicaraguan cards listed in the SCD. There's always the chance something could be discovered, though. I often daydream about a set of cards from Mexico in the early 40's popping up. Hope this helps.
