Wonderful pickup on the oversized Cubs Pennant. Definitely Cubs and not Bears. The Cubs used Maroon/Burgundy almost exclusively with their early pennants. That is an early to mid-teens pennant, and the Bears didn't exist until 1922. That's a beauty and in amazing shape, given its age!

I believe 1959 is about the earliest known for the actual photo pennants. I can't recall seeing any of that style that are earlier. Of course it's possible, but seems they were most prevalent from 1959 - the mid seventies or so.
