This. I honestly never believed it was anyone different than themselves. They were probably just smart enough to know that it will look like it was their parents, because they were in high school when they started. I've seen or read nothing to dissuade me of that belief. It was as simple as them not being able to use PayPal because of their many shenanigans, and having to find a new space to sell their inventory.
