Being from Houston (now near Dallas, far north) I remember the flooding and chaos with hurricanes and high waters. We canoed down Braeswood Blvd (I used to live off of it, the same street as the JCC). That was 35-40 yrs ago and I doubt it is any better today, especially by the looks of it.
