ALWAYS go to the site in question directly through the internet to provide the information or to find out if the information is even truly needed. I received one of these "ebay" requests a few months ago two days after uncovering and reporting a hijacked ebay account. No doubt it was the hijacker trying to get the last laugh. I just responded to him with a password of kissmyass.
