Default Questions and thoughts on this 1958 Giants baseball....

This is one of those situations where a co-worker has asked me to look at his baseball that he was given as a child and offer an opinion on value and potentially selling it. He is not a collector and really could not give a darn about sports but was given this ball by a distant relative back in the '60's as a form of "thank you" for being a pen pal and taking an interest in an old man (this is how it was explained to me). He has held onto this ball all this time and in a conversation about my many years of collecting he brought this ball in to get my opinion.

This ball is not varnished or coated
The signatures are between a 5 and 6
There are 27 signatures on this ball

Here is my questions....

1) Any thoughts on value....I put this ball in the 200-300 price range but I am not an expert by any stretch of the imagination.

2) Since this ball is from the first year the Giants were in San Francisco (based on signatures on the ball and not on the notations on it), is there a premium?

Thank you ahead of time for any input that is given.

Unknown (looks like Frank Baumann but I find no record of anyone with the name of Frank on the roster that year.

I would love to hear your thoughts on this ball.

Thanks
