Default Joe DiMaggio Gamer

Posted By: Dave

We tried to describe the bat accurately based on the data provided and will ask the consignor more questions. A cute story was not created. We are an honest company and trying to accurately portray the item. This should make everyone happy because if you locate more data, huge value could be created. Hopefully the original owner can fill in some of the blanks. However, he is 80 years old give or take and received the item 60+ years ago. Hal Lewis, take a break! Did you remember what you had for lunch two weeks ago Tuesday? Are you really bothered by the fact that the bat may not be a 1941 bat with Joe DiMaggio DNA on it? You should be happy because you could never afford it in this case. MW is correct about how large auctions always manage to create an amazing story. This DiMaggio bat is a fantastic opportunity. I would rather pay $5,000 - $20,000 for this bat versus $200,000+ for a 1941 bat that is only as good as the letter and looks identical. Buy the bat...not the letter...just like graded cards!
