The reason I am asking is that I came across Dick Hall's stats from the mid-60s and I was surprised to discover he was one of the best relievers in baseball. And yet I don't recall cards of him in any of the sets from '64 to '66. I realized how much I depend on Topps cards for my baseball knowledge of the 50s and 60s ...
Another player I recall didn't have any cards was Tony Horton. Does anybody know the story about why Hall's or Horton's cards weren't issued? And can anybody name any other players whose cards were omitted?
